4000 islands

on

I spent a fabulous 3 days in Don Det, 4000 islands. I accidentally ended on the quieter side of the island, but it ended up being exactly what I needed. I had my own bungalow right on the river complete with hammocks, and a sometimes working fan with sometimes working power. The first full day on the island I ventured out onto the Mekong river to see some water falls and hopefully catch a glimpse of the Irrawaddy Dolphins. The water was dirty and the sun was hot, but I saw some Dolphins and had some good food.
