Nusa Lembongan

on

It’s crazy to think I’m almost done with my trip in South East Asia. It’s crazy how the time feels like it has both flown by and slowly crawled.
I find myself in Nusa Lembongan for the finals days of my adventure; what a place to end my trip.
The beaches are stunning. The water is breath taking. And the people are super friendly. I have swam with mantra Rays, snorkeled in one of the best places in the world, received a wonderful massage, and read my book by the beach. Lembongan is everything I thought and hoped it would be (which says a lot because I was really looking forward to this island). I’m staying in this beautiful bungalow with a view, less than ten seconds from the beach. I’m sad I only have three days on the island, but I cannot wait to go back home.

Today I spent a good portion of my time on the beach; gotta make sure I’m tanner than my sister when I get home (love you Kenz;).

My pictures don’t capture just how lovely this island is!

  2. Hey, nice pics! I plan to go to Bali in April and wanna spend a few days in Lembongan but accommodation seems a bit expensive, compared to Kuta anyway! Did you get a good deal at your bungalow or know anywhere good value? Thanks!

Hello! Thank you. Yeah, Lembongan for the most part is more expensive than Bali, because there really aren’t dorm rooms. I payed 150,000 IR for my single room bungalow w/o AC right on the beach at Segala Beach Inn. This was a really good deal for the island, and I loved the owners. ( I try to find and stay at places that are locally owned) However, from what I heard, prices are higher in April because it is high season.
That being said, I would highly recommend Lembogan for a couple of days, maybe only two nights if that’s all you can afford. Lemobogan was easily one of the most beautiful places I visited in my three and a half months. I didn’t book a place and just walked around the island until I found Segala Beach Inn. If you have any more advice, shoot me an email at coriallan@yahoo.com and I would be more than happy to answer any questions:).
